Please read the terms and conditions carefully before booking onto a training course. When booking with GS Water Ltd, you agree with the following:
Payment
Payment must be made before the course starts. Payments are accepted in pounds sterling and can be made by:
BACS: Account details are provided on your invoice. Use your invoice number as a reference.
GS Water reserves the right to refuse attendance on a course where payment has not been received.
ForĀ training courses, our fees cover travel (where applicable), materials, and trainer expenses unless otherwise stated. If course customisation is requested, fees for this work will be agreed and clearly specified. If cancelled after content development, the associated costs will be invoiced.
Cancellations, transfers and substitutions
To cancel or transfer a booking, notify us in writing by email. Cancellations or transfers onto an alternative date are free of charge when made 7 or more working days before the original course start date. After that, you will incur 50% of the total course value.
If you need to substitute one delegate for another on a course, let us know in writing as soon as possible. This is free of charge.
GS Water reserves the right to cancel a course at any time, in which case we will offer a new date, a credit, or a refund.
Intellectual property
Course materials are copyrighted and owned by GS Water. Unauthorised distribution or reproduction is not permitted, and courses must not be recorded without prior written consent.
Health and safety
During training, both GS Water representatives and course delegates are expected to comply with relevant health and safety legislation and site-specific guidelines. Please review these additional points:
- Personal responsibility: Delegates are responsible for ensuring their own safety and are expected to act with caution and respect towards other attendees, the tutor, and the training environment.
- Emergency procedures: Emergency exits and procedures will be clearly explained at the start of each course. Delegates should familiarise themselves with these procedures and cooperate fully with any instructions given by GS Water representatives or venue staff in the event of an emergency.
- First aid & medical needs: First aid provisions are available at all training locations. If you have any medical conditions or specific health needs, please inform us prior to the course so that we can make necessary arrangements to support your well-being.
- Reporting issues: If you identify any potential health or safety hazards during the course, please report them immediately to a GS Water representative.
GS Water reserves the right to take appropriate action, including removing individuals from a course without a refund, where health and safety regulations or guidelines are not followed.
Behaviour
We expect all delegates to conduct themselves respectfully. In cases of disruptive or inappropriate behaviour, GS Water reserves the right to ask individuals to leave, without a refund. Any damage caused to the venue will be the responsibility of the individual.
For virtual classroom training, we ask delegates to keep their cameras on and stay in a quiet, distraction-free environment. Delegates are responsible for having a stable internet connection, which is essential to avoid disruption.
Force majeure
GS Water is not liable for delays or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, accidents, or other force majeure events.
Limitations of liability
GS Water provides training and consultancy services and resources intended for informational purposes only. While we strive to ensure that the information and training materials, we offer are accurate and up to date, we reserve the right to adjust agendas, trainers, fees, or venues as necessary. We make no guarantees or representations regarding the completeness, reliability, or suitability of the information contained herein.
Any reliance on the materials provided by GS Water is at your own risk. GS Water shall not be responsible for any actions taken based on the information provided, nor for any errors or omissions in the content.
In no event shall GS Water, its employees, associates, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of our services, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
GS Water total aggregate liability in contract, tort, misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise, arising in connection with the training shall be limited to the total charges paid for the training.
This limitation of liability fully applies permitted by law. If you are dissatisfied with any portion of our services or with any of these terms, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using our services.
